Blue Day : On 28th June we celebrated ‘Blue Day’ for Jr Kg. and Sr. K.G students. All the children came in blue outfit. It was a pleasant and cool “Blue Day”. Teachers prepared nice back drop in blue colour. The theme was Rain. All the children made waterdrops from blue paper and stick it on the chart paper. Teachers explained the colour of the sky, sea, cloud, water and fish. Children enjoyed the activity with immense enthusiasm and zeal.
Pink day : On 31st July ‘Pink Day’ activity was carried out. The Pink colour signifies love, beauty and kindness. The theme for Jr. K.G was ‘Names of Fruits’. Pictures of Orange and Grapes were given to them for colouring. Theme for Sr. K.G was ‘My Self’. Each child spoke on My Self. Students brought an Ice-cream stick and cotton from home and with that they prepared Pink colour Candyfloss. Children were very happy to do this activity. Cadbury Lollipops were given to them.
Green Day: Taking care, showing respect and preserving our nature is the need of the hour. Hence, to show love for our nature we the Pre- Primary observed “GREEN DAY” on 30th August, 2024. JR. K.G students recited two rhymes from their syllabus. Sr. K.G. students brought cut-outs of fruits and vegetables and other materials from home for making salad activity. Each child from Sr. K.G spoke 2 or 3 lines on “Our Nature”. All the children enjoyed Green Day.
Show and Tell Competition : The Show and Tell Competition was conducted on 18th September 2024 for Sr. K.G. and 19th September, 2024 for Jr. K.G. The competition is introduced for the first time this year and the number of participants were surprisingly good. The competition began with a prayer. Each child came walking confidently on the stage and performed holding their props. Overall, it was a nice competition. Judges for SR. K.G was Sr. Manuelina A.C. and Teacher Agnes and JR K.G was Sr. Manuelina and Teacher Jennifer. Children those who are participated for them Cadbury lollipops were given. The best three winners were awarded certificates by Sr. Manuelina A.C.
Yellow Day: On 30th September, 2024 our Pre-Primary students enthusiastically got engaged in the Yellow Day activity. This event aimed to introduce young learners to the vibrant colour yellow promoting cognitive development and fine motor skills. The students of JR K.G where they have to dip their palm in yellow water colour and press their palm onto a paper in their activity book to leave an impression, to make a hen by drawing a break and a crest legs. The SR K.G Students had the activity colouring the smiley with a yellow crayons where the students draw different expressions of smileys.
Drawing Competition: On 16th August 2024 Drawing Competition was held for JR. K.G and SR. K.G . The topic for JR. Kg – Colouring a picture of a “Tree” and SR. K.G – Draw and Colour “ A Scenery” . One of the colourful competition of the year, where the students are free to play with the colours and portraiting their imagination on paper. All the students were very excited for Drawing Competition they came with all the materials for this competition. Sr. Manuelina A.C and teachers selected best three students.
