Dear Parents,
This new academic year 2016-2017 began with the blessings of the Almighty. Carmel School rejoiced as it proved its excellence for the 8th consecutive year by securing 100% results at the March – 2016 S.S.C. Board Exam.
At the S.S.C. Board Exams, 130 students appeared, 29 students secured 90% and above, 67 students secured Distinction, 24 students secured First Class and 10 students secured Second Class. Miss D’monte Salita Simon is the school topper with 96.% followed by Miss Rodricks Divya Domnic, 2nd in the school with 95.20% , Miss Correia Limisha Louis and Master Rumao Gladden Mathew 3rd in the School with 95.% .
We invoke showers of Blessings on all our students who made our Carmel School Proud.
Thank you dear parents for your constant support and partnership in achievement of our children. Saturday, 9th July, 2016 is an Open Day for Class I to X. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and clarify all your doubts. The class teacher will conduct the meeting followed by the elections of the P.T.A. for the year 2016-17 from 7.30 to 8.30 am in their respective classes. The teachers will give all the guidelines and information about the continuous evaluation system. It is very important and compulsory that at least one parent should attend the meeting. Please be in school at 7.30am sharp.
- There will be a meeting of newly elected P.T.A and old P.T.A members in Mother Veronica Hall at 8.45 am on 9th July, 2016
- Std I : The parents of Std. I will be given information about the New Evaluation System for the first time.
- Std X : All the information regarding the new syllabus will be explained. Attendance of at least one parent is compulsory.
Parents Kindly take note of the following :
- Please read the school Diary thoroughly.
- Check your child’s School Diary daily and also his/her school bag on a regular basis.
- When your child is absent, it is compulsory to send a leave note.
- Pack substantial food in your child’s Tiffin. Please don’t give Fast Food.
- No parents will be entertained to meet the teaching staff without H.M’s permission and prior appointment.
IF YOUR CHILD IS HAVING COUGH, COLD, FEVER OR ANY OTHER SICKNESS, PLEASE DO NOT SEND HIM/HER TO SCHOOL AS THE INFECTION SPREADS TO OTHER CHILDREN.
