On 27th July 2026, Carmel Convent High School organized a Poem Recitation Competition for the Primary Section, i.e. Std I to IV, to encourage students to improve their speaking skills and enjoy the beauty of thoughts, feelings, expressions, and rhyming in the poem.
Students from primary classes participated in this competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students recited poems with confidence and exhibited their talent. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The audience enjoyed the performances and applauded the participants for their efforts.
The students were judged on parameters like confidence, voice modulation, expression, memorization, clarity, pronunciation, and overall presentation.
The competition was a great success and inspired students to develop a love for public speaking and literature.
