Carmel Feast: On 14th July, 2025 we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mother Veronica hall. The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song dedicated to our Lady of Mount Carmel setting a relevant tone for the programme. Our Manager Sister Manuelina, Our Principal Sister Joviana along with the Pre-Primary children offered candles and flowers to the photo of our Lady of Mount Carmel. The programme included a short introduction to the significance of our Lady of Mount Carmel, followed by a captivating prayer dance performed by our students. Sister Rachel led the Bible reading and Tr. Nivlen shared a reflection.

Our Principal, Sister Joviana was invited to accept the various offerings presented by the teachers and students like candles, incense, flowers, uniform, study material and musical instrument. The JR. K.G. students then presented a heart warming short skit on our Lady of Mount Carmel, showcasing their love and devotion. After the skit the students offered their intentions to the Lord for our sisters, teachers, students and the community. Sister Manuelina expressed her gratitude to Tr. Nivlen and Tr. Annie for organising the programme and also shared an inspiring message with the children. The programme concluded with energetic dance and music leaving everyone in a spirit of joy and celebration.

 

Handwriting Competition : The handwriting competition was held for SR. KG. on 14th  July, 2025. The aim of Handwriting Competition was to encourage neat and beautiful handwriting among young learners and to help them to develop focus. The competition was conducted during class hours. Each child was given a test book and was asked to write neatly a few letters in cursive writing. Teachers guided the students. The entries were judged based on neatness, spacing, cursive letter formation and overall presentation.

All the participants were appreciated and the winners were awarded certificates. The handwriting competition was a fun and engaging experience for our children. It helped them to understand the importance of good handwriting and motivated them to write more carefully.

 

Pink Day : The Pink day was celebrated on 24th July for SR. KG. The aim of celebrating Pink Day was to help the children recognize the colour Pink and understand its importance in a fun and engaging way. Pink day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. Students decorated a pink bag with small greeting card to their parents and grandparents. The day started with explaining the colour Pink. It was a wonderful experience for our children. It helped them to identify the colour pink and boosted their confidence through group activity. The day was filled with learning, laughter and lots of pink fun.

 

G.K. Quiz Competition : The G.K. Quiz competition was held for SR.K.G. on 24th July, 2025. This competition was organised to enhance children’s awareness about the world around them and to encourage curiosity and learning in a fun way. The quiz began with a warm welcome and a short explanation about the rules. The students were divided into two teams SR. K.G. A and SR. K.G. B. The quiz consisted of three exciting rounds: 1) Fun with riddles 2) Choose the correct answer 3) Give the answer in full sentence.

Questions were age appropriate and based on topics water, seasons, how do we use water. The G.K. Quiz competition was fun filled learning experience. It helped the children to build their confidence, improve their listening skills and learn new facts. The joyful spirit of teamwork made this competition a grand success.

 

Grandparents day: To honour the love, wisdom and guidance of grandparents, our Pre-Primary class joyfully celebrated Grandparents Day on 25th July, 2025 in Mother Veronica Hall. The event was a heart warming occasion that brought together generations under one roof, creating beautiful memories filled with love and laughter.

The programme began with a warm welcome followed by a prayer dance. The children then performed a special dance dedicated to Grandparents, showcasing their love and appreciation through their innocent and joyful expressions. To add more fun a few interactive games were conducted with few spot prizes where grandparents participated enthusiastically. The hall echoed with laughter and cheers reflecting the strong bond shared between generations.

The celebration concluded with vote of thanks. The event was a beautiful reminder of the important role grandparents play in a child’s life, and it succeeded in spreading smiles and strengthening family values. Snacks were distributed to the grandparents and children. Overall the Grandparents Day celebration was a grand success and left everyone with joyful hearts and unforgettable memories.
