English Oral Competition – SR. K.G.
English Oral Competition, ‘My Favourite’ …. was held on 6th August, 2026 for the students of SR. K. G. The students participated enthusiastically and spoke on the topics they like the most. The students were confident and expressed their ideas using simple English sentences. They described their favourite objects and shared interesting facts about it. The competition helped the students improve their speaking skills, confidence, pronunciation and vocabulary. All the participants performed well and enjoyed; it was a wonderful learning experience for everyone. The event was a great success.
The judges Sr. Magdeline and Teacher Vibha appreciated the participants and encouraged other students to take part for the next competition. Certificates were awarded to the winners.
Colouring Competition – JR. K.G.
Colouring Competition was organised for the Jr. KG students on 7th August, 2026. The topic for the competition was colouring “A Mango. Children participated with great joy and enthusiasm. They beautifully coloured the mango and showed their creativity and interest in art. The activity encouraged colour identification, creativity, patience, and fine motor development. It was a fun-filled and enjoyable learning experience for all the children.
English Handwriting Competition – SR. K.G.
English handwriting competition was held on, 7th August 2026 for the students of Sr. K. G. The competition focused on writing the capital and small cursive letters from Aa to Gg. The students participated with great enthusiasm and showed interest in improving their handwriting, letter formation, neatness, and presentation. They carefully practised and wrote the cursive letters within the given time. Students with best handwriting were appreciated for their neat and beautiful handwriting. Certificates were given to the winners to encourage them and motivate them to continue developing their handwriting skills.
The activity was enjoyable and helped the students improve their confidence and cursive writing skills.
Maths Handwriting Competition – SR. K.G.
Maths Handwriting Competition was organised on 12th August, 2026 for the students of SR. K.G. The students participated enthusiastically and practised writing numbers from 1 to 20 in a neat and proper manner. The activity aimed to improve the students’ number-writing skills, handwriting, concentration, and confidence. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the competition.
Certificates were given to the students to appreciate their participation and performance. Overall, the activity was successful and helped make learning numbers a fun and engaging experience for the students.
Bindi Sticking Activity – Tree JR. K.G.
A fun and creative Bindi Sticking Activity was conducted for the Jr. KG students on 12th August, 2026. The children used colourful ‘Bindis’ to decorate ‘ A Tree’, creating beautiful patterns. This activity encouraged creativity while improving their finger coordination, concentration, and fine motor skills. The children enjoyed the activity and participated with great enthusiasm.
Independence Day
The Independence Day celebration was held on 14th August, 2026 in Mother Veronica Hall. The programme began with a prayer and a beautiful prayer dance presented by the Jr. KG and Sr. KG students. The children enthusiastically participated in class-wise patriotic song performances. A few students dressed up and portrayed great national leaders such as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Rani Lakshmibai. A beautiful patriotic dance was also performed by the children. Two students delivered inspiring speeches on the importance of Independence Day. Sister Manuelina spoke about the value of freedom and appreciated Tr. Leena and Tr. Prajwali for their efforts in organizing the programme. She also congratulated all the children for their wonderful performances.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana. Sweets were distributed among the children. It was a joyful and memorable day filled with patriotism, happiness, and pride for our nation.
Solo Singing Competition – JR. K.G.
The Solo Singing Competition for the JR. KG students was held on Monday, 17th August 2026, in the AV Room. The theme of the competition was Patriotic Songs. Many children enthusiastically participated in the competition. They sang beautiful patriotic songs with great confidence and enthusiasm. Their performances were truly appreciated by everyone. Sr. Manuelina and Tr. Jennifer were the judges for the competition. A beautiful backdrop was prepared by Tr. Leena, which added charm to the programme. Sister Manuelina was very happy to see the confidence with which the children held the mike and sang. She appreciated their enthusiasm and confidence on stage.
The programme ended with a prayer, followed by the distribution of sweets to all the participating children. It was a joyful and memorable experience for our little singe
Maths Handwriting Competition – JR. K.G.
A Maths handwriting Competition on Number 1 to 8 was conducted for the Jr. KG on 21st August, 2026. The children participated with great enthusiasm and interest. They confidently identified and recited the numbers from 1 to 8. The activity helped the children improve their number recognition, counting skills and confidence. The competition was conducted in a joyful and encouraging atmosphere, and the efforts of all the children were appreciated.
English Handwriting Competition – JR. K.G.
On Monday, 24th August 2026, an English Handwriting Competition on Letters A to L was conducted for the students of Jr. KG. Some children wrote the letters A to L very beautifully and neatly within the red and blue lines. A few children, however, found it difficult to write properly within the lines. Some children are still developing their ability to write the letters in the correct sequence and recognize the letters.
Sister Manuelina checked the children’s books and gave appropriate remarks to the children who need more practice and improvement. The activity helped us identify the children’s handwriting skills and areas where they require additional support and regular practice.
Assembly by SR. K.G. B
On 24th August, 2026 an assembly on “Swachh Bharat” was conducted by Sr. KG. B. students. The programme began with a warm welcome to the teachers and students, followed by a prayer. The children presented a cheerful song on cleanliness. They also performed a short and meaningful skit showing the importance of using dustbins, keeping our surroundings clean, and maintaining good hygiene. The children participated enthusiastically and learned that cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility. The assembly ended with a simple message: “Keep India Clean and Green.”
Rhymes Recitation Activity – JR.K.G.
On Tuesday, 25th August 2026, a rhyme recitation activity was conducted in the AV Room for the Jr. K G children. Theme was “Rain”. All the children participated enthusiastically and recited the rhyme very well. They were able to memorize the complete rhyme and confidently present it on stage. The children were especially excited to hold the microphone and recite the rhyme in front of everyone. Each child got an opportunity to come on stage and participate. The backdrop for the activity was beautifully prepared by Tr. Leena. The children were very happy and enjoyed the activity. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to develop their confidence, memory, speaking skills, and stage presence.
Free hand Drawing Competition – SR. K.G.
A Free-Hand Drawing Competition was organized on 27th August 2026 for the students of SR. K.G. All the students from both classes participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills. The students were given the opportunity to express their ideas through free-hand drawings. They participated with great interest and excitement, making the activity enjoyable and meaningful. After evaluating the drawings, 6 students from Sr. KG-A and 6 students from Sr. KG-B were selected for their outstanding creativity and presentation. A total of 12 students were selected, and certificates were awarded to them as a token of appreciation for their excellent performance. The competition was a wonderful opportunity for the young learners to develop their creativity and confidence while enjoying the joy of drawing.
Pot Painting Activity – SR . K.G.
A Pot Painting Activity was conducted on 31st August, 2026 for the students of SR. K.G. All the students actively participated in the activity with great enthusiasm and interest. The activity provided an opportunity for the children to explore their creativity, develop their artistic skills, and enjoy learning through hands-on experience. From each class, 6 students were selected to showcase their participation and creativity in the activity. The activity was successfully completed, and the students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Assembly by SR. K.G. A
Theme: “Nature – Our Home”
The students of Sr. K.G. A conducted a meaningful and colourful class assembly in the month of August on the theme “Nature – Our Home.” The assembly began with a prayer, thanking God for the beautiful gift of nature. The children then presented a thought for the day highlighting the importance of loving and caring for our environment. Through a creative presentation, the students spoke about trees, plants, flowers, birds, animals, water and the importance of keeping our surroundings clean. They reminded everyone that nature is our home and it is our responsibility to protect it. The children also presented a lively action song/dance based on nature, which added joy and enthusiasm to the assembly. The programme concluded with a simple pledge to save water, plant trees, avoid littering and care for all living things. The assembly was an enjoyable and enriching experience for the children. It helped them understand that even small acts of kindness towards nature can make a big difference. “Love Nature, Protect Nature, and Keep Our Home Green!”
