World environment Day is celebrated on 5th of June every year. It is the biggest annual event for positive environmental action . The theme for the world environment day 2018 is ‘BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION’ The theme invites everyone to consider how they can make changes in their everyday lives to reduce the heavy burden of plastic pollution on our natural places, our wild life and our own health. To mark this day Std X conducted an assembly on environment day . The assembly began with a short prayers service followed by intentions to the almighty lord. After the prayer service , the students performed a musical play on save environment followed by a short information said by Miss Simran, thereafter a short video was shown on how we can avoid using plastic and lastly the students sang a song on nature.
