‘International Women’s Day’ is marked on 8th March every year around the world. It is a day where we honour all the women for their important role in our society as mothers, wives, daughters, friends etc.. On this day we also celebrate the achievements of women of past and present throughout the world. To mark this day, Carmel Convent High School had a short prayer service to pray for all the women who plays important role in our lives. They also offered a Rose as a token of love and appreciation to all the women in our school who loves and cares for them. We had Mrs. Sujata Tuscano, a Professional nurse and a brave woman of Nandakhal as a Chief Guest, who serves our society in different ways especially the poor and the needy. She inspired our students through the sharing of her life experience. So also motivated them to live a value based life and also thank God for everything in life.
