“Women’s are the Real Architects of Society”
Every year on 8th March all over the world Women’s Day is celebrated as International Women’s Day. It’s a day to commemorate and salute the contribution of every woman. It’s a day to express gratitude and sincere thanks for all the women that they do and for all that they are. To mark this day Std VIII – A conducted Women’s Day assembly under the guidance of their Class Teacher, Tr. Philomena along with Tr. Pranali and Tr. Rekha . The assembly began with lighting of lamp by the Principal Sr. Sushma A.C., Tr. Robina, Tr Joycee and the aunties Babita, Ruth, Saroj and Cecilia followed by prayer service. Miss Anisha D’cunha enlightened the significance of International Women’s Day. The students then performed a wonderful dance , a skit and a song praising the women. A video clip was shown that no relation is complete without women in this world, she plays many roles. The students then gave cards to the principal and all the teachers, wishing Happy Women’s Day.
