The Independence Day Assembly 2026 was conducted by the students of Class 6 B with great pride and enthusiasm under the theme “Freedom Inspires Every Generation”. The programme began with the School Band welcoming the distinguished guests — our Manager, Sr. Manuelina, Principal, Sr. Jovianna, Sir Francis, our esteemed Chief Guests Mr. Sunil Dmonty and Mrs. Rasika Dmonty, and the SSC achievers who secured 90% and above. This was followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony, National Anthem, Flag Song, State Song and National Pledge. The assembly continued with a meaningful prayer service, Bible reading, reflection and Prayer of the Faithful, along with a special remembrance of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The cultural programme included a patriotic song, an inspiring speech and a colourful patriotic dance. The SSC achievers who secured 90% and above were felicitated by the Chief Guests, Mr. Sunil Dmonty and Mrs. Rasika Dmonty, proud parents of SSC topper Miss Serah Dmonty. Their gracious presence and inspiring words added great significance to the celebration. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and a reminder that freedom is not only a gift but also a responsibility. The students of Class 6 B participated with confidence and enthusiasm, making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
