The Old has gone. The New is Here (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“New year is another chance to get it right” said by Oprah Winfrey. New Year signifies a fresh start and newly discovered happiness. Many people use the start of a new year as a time to reflect on the year that was and make life-changing improvements.
Class V B led the New Year’s assembly with the help of their class teacher, Tr. Rincy and sub-teachers, Tr. Sapna, Tr. Rekha and Sir Marshal, as well as a beautiful backdrop given by Tr. Caroline.
The picture of Venerable Mother Veronica was garland by our Manager Sr. Gunvanti, followed by lighting of the lamp by our Principal Sr. Joviana.
The children demonstrated 12 positive traits over the course of a year in an effort to inspire us to be better people. They also performed a foot-tapping dance for our amusement. The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks by Enoch and a message from our principal, Sr. Joviana, encouraging everyone to instil the 12 traits and to always say the following words (I can do all things in God who strengthens me.)
Students who passed in the General Knowledge Olympiad Exam and Math’s Aptitude Test were awarded with certificates. Congratulation to all the participants and the winners.
