A special awareness session for the staff of Carmel was organized by the Arnala Police. Sir Sunil warmly welcomed Police Inspector Vijay Patil and his assistant. Inspector Vijay Patil conducted an informative talk on the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act), highlighting its importance in safeguarding children from abuse and exploitation.
During the session, he explained key provisions of the Act with practical examples. He also emphasized essential topics such as good touch and bad touch, sexual harassment, the influence of drugs, and how children can be protected from unsafe situations. The talk helped the staff understand the legal framework and the role of educators in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children.
The session was highly insightful and contributed greatly to strengthening child safety awareness within the school community. Tr. Pranali proposed the vote of thanks.
