The 76th Republic Day Assembly was conducted by the class 7A The day began with the welcoming of the chief guest Mr Chris Tuscano (Vice – President of CESA) who was accompanied by our Manager Sr Manuelina, Principal Sr Joviana and Sir Francis along with the band. The chief guest hoisted the flag and National Anthem, Flag song and State song were sung. Principal Sr Joviana felicitated Mr Chris Tuscano (our Ex- student) with a sapling.
The assembly started with the prayer service followed by the patriotic song (Saath chale hum, Saath rahe hum), a stunning gymnastic performance by Miss Elaine Rodrigues and to experience the cultural vibrancy of India a beautiful dance was presented.
Later a speech was delivered by the student Miss Ralisa Tuscano and Mr Chris Tuscano the chief guest.
The prize distribution programme for scholarship and sports students was also held on this day.
The assembly ended with the vote of thanks.
The assembly showcased on the values of *Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity* as well as *Unity in diversity*
