“The earth is a treasure”
Myself Tr. Christina a member as well as science Teacher, got golden opportunity to attend the seminar on the title “The School Eco Warriors” to empower students, at Carmel Heights in Pune from 3rd to 6th February, 2025 along with following students :
Lopes Zoe (Std VIII)
Lopes Bethany (Std VIII)
Menezes Anciya (Std VII)
Fr. Maggi was the resource person and he was guided the students as well as Teachers about the conservation of our Environment by using Eco- friendly materials, use maximum, use of cloth bag and avoid and minimise the use of plastic where ever possible. The Seminar also encourage organic farming in our School as well as in our surrounding.
In the wake-up call of the world problem, the children needs to save the earth for themselves and for their furture generations.
Through Seminar they taught to save the earth for themselves and for their furture generations to make difference for tomorrow with the help of Principal, Science teachers as well as all science club students.
As guided by the Pune seminar to encourage more ori organic farming, myself Tr. Christina along with Ms. Zoe, Ms. Bethany and Ms. Anciya, we had germinated the coriander as well as methi seeds in our School garden.
It was a very beautiful moment when we saw our plant was growing infront of our eyes. It was a wonderful experience to make our own farm.
We will continue our mission towards greener environment with an Anthem,
Carmelites, we take a stand,
For our earth, we lend a hand !
Green and Pure, let’s make it right,
