Talk for the Parents of Std VIII to X on “Good Parenting”

The Seminar at the Annual General Body meeting for the parents of Std VIII, IX & X was held on 13th July, 2024 in Mother Veronica Hall at 8.15 am Total 137 Parents attended the Seminar.

Sir Francis D’mello was the resource person who spoke on “Good Parenting.” Sir was welcomed by Sister Joviana with a sapling.

The programme began with a prayer and a prayer song followed by a skit which was performed by the students of std VIII & IX  potraying certain family situation on which sir based his talk.

Sir Spoke about how important it is for parents to be Involved in their child’s growth and development by spending quality time with them. He gave the mantra of the 3 C’s to the parents i.e Confidence, Comparison, Criticism.

He asked the parents to increase the Confidence of the children by avoiding Camparison and Criticism. Thus this could lead to the allround development of the child’s personality.

The Seminar ended by thanking the resource person and the parents.
